Kareena Kapoor, the renowned Bollywood actress, has heaped praise on Kiran Rao’s latest film, “Laapataa Ladies,” calling it a “gem” of a movie. The film, which premiered on Netflix, has been receiving widespread acclaim from both audiences and critics since its release.

The Intriguing Premise of “Laapataa Ladies”
“Laapataa Ladies” is a captivating story of a missing bride. On January 29, 2001, Deepak Kumar (Sparsh Shrivastava) marries Phool (Nitanshi Goel), and the two board the unreserved compartment of the Belpur Katariya Express. Deepak sits next to two other newly married couples, all of whom have their faces covered with ‘ghoonghat’. When Deepak wakes up, Phool is missing.

Kareena Kapoor, who has not acted in the film, has expressed her admiration for “Laapataa Ladies,” stating that the film deserves praise and that the director, Kiran Rao, should “take a bow”. The film has been produced by Aamir Khan Productions and Jio Studios.
